4Ps Releases Grants Through the Perforated Cash Cards

The over the counter releasing of grants under the perforated cash cards continues to be simultaneously implemented all over Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). These perforated cash cards are considered to be non-moving accounts due to the shift of of cash releases to the biometric system of some provinces which covers grants dating back to year 2012.

Currently, the mainland provinces of Maguindanao and Lanao Del Sur are using the biometric system of payouts while the island provinces of the Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi are still using the over-the-counter releases.

This new and improved system was rolled out in January and is projected to be fully implemented by March. The perforated cash card system is in compliance with the memorandum issued by the Pantawid Pamilya National Program Management Office (NPMO).

With this improved over-the-counter release, beneficiaries’ biometric profiles undergo thorough validation through a database management system. Their authentic credentials are reviewed by personnel from the cash grants section of the Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) and assisted by assigned fieldworkers in their respective areas. Cluster grievance officers are also present to monitor and immediately take action on possible cases of irregularities.

Qualified beneficiaries will be able to process their unclaimed cash grants at Land Bank of Philippines (LBP) branches in their municipalities.
